Track and Field Athlete Earns Academic Honor

CHESTNUT HILL, MA - Boston College men's track and field team placed one student-athlete on the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District for men's track and field/cross-country teams. Senior Daniel LaFave was named to the District 1 first-team as announced by CoSIDA.
LaFave (Birmingham, MI) was the Eagles team Co-Most Valuable Performer this past outdoor season. He captured the 500m run at the BU Open this past spring. LaFave ran a 1:51.5 relay split on BC's 4x800m relay team that won the college section at the Penn Relays. He was also the 800m leg on the All-ACC DMR squad.
