Former Heisman Trophy winner Doug Flutie returned to his alma mater last week to share his philosophies on life and the college experience.
The BC Student Athlete Advisory Committee held the event in Power Gym and gave students an opportunity to hear Flutie reflect on his college and professional achievements as well as to lend advice to the group. Students also had the chance to ask the quarterback questions about a variety of topics from his NFL career to his years living on campus.
Flutie won the Heisman Trophy in 1984 and went on to have a record setting career in the Canadian Football League as well as a number of successful NFL seasons with the Patriots, Bills, Chargers and Bears.
