Boston, Mass. - The Boston College men's track and field competed at the Snowflake Classic, hosted by Northeastern University on Saturday, March 25. The races were run at the Solomon Track in Dedham, Mass.
Samuel Phelps finished fifth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.70 seconds. In the 200, Phelps finished sixth with a time of 23.17.
Benjamin Kocarnik placed second in the pole vault with a mark of 14-00.00 and Shawn Kushiyama placed fifth with a 12-06.00 mark.
Trevor Frierson finished the 200 in 23.91 for 10th.
Matthew Dollard competed in the 400, placing 21st in a time of 54.77.
In the discus James Unis placed sixth with a throw of 140 feet, eight inches. David Lucia threw the discus 122-02 for 13th overall. Lucia also placed 18th in the hammer throw with a mark of 130-05.
The Eagles compete again on April 4 at the SCSU Invitational in New Haven, Conn.
