The Boston College men's track and field team competed at the Giegengack Invitational over the weekend, hosted by Yale Unversity on Feb. 3 and 4. The Eagles faced competition from the University of Pennsylvania, Yale, Georgetown, Southern Connecticut, Saint Joseph's and the University of New Haven.
The men's distance medley relay team finished second out of 12 teams with a time of nine minutes, 55 seconds, while Benjamin Kocarnik was the 10th-place finisher in the pole vault with a mark of 4.20 meters.
Brendan Collins and James LaGreca both finished the one-mile run in 4:20.00 for 16th place.
Sebastian Mansson was the 21st-place finisher in the 400, crossing the line with a time of 50.60, while Ryan Henry completed the 500 with a time of 1:06.70 for 11th place.
