Women's Swimming and Diving Sinks Maine

Orono, Maine - Caroline and Liz Byron contributed to six frist-place finishes, including three individual wins, to lead the women's swimming and diving team over Maine 204-132 in Orono.
Caroline Byron anchored the winning 200 medley relay team that also included her sister Liz, Tanya Suryoutomo and Holly Boucher. The Byron sisters and Boucher captured the 400 freestlye relay with the help of Kelly Leahey, and the 200 freestyle relay with the help of Elizabeth Snyder.
Individually, Liz Byron took first in the 100 butterfly and the 50 freestyle, while her sister Caroline also took an individual win in the 100 free.
The Eagles continued their dominance across the board as Mari Wunschel grabbed first in the 400 individual medley and second in the 200 IM. Amy Bromann garnered first in the 100 backstroke, while Nikoll Julien earned first in the 100 breaststroke.
Jennifer Rhines won both diving events for the Eagles, finishing off a strong team performance for BC.
The Eagles return to action next Saturday at 1 p.m at Rhode Island.
