Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College men's and women's soccer teams will meet the Duke Blue Devils in key ACC matchups for both teams at Newton Campus Field on Friday evening. The women will start at 4 p.m and the men will follow at 7 p.m.
The women, currently unbeaten and ranked #8 in the nation, are seeking their second ACC win after defeating Clemson, 2-1, last week. Kia McNeill (8 points) spurs the offensive charge while the defense has been equally spectacular, leading the nation in goals against average (.122).
Sherron Manswell has been brilliant for the men with 8 goals, placing him second in the conference in scoring. The Eagles, who are an impressive 38-14-5 at home since Newton Campus Field opened, lost a spirited 4-3 decision to #4 Virginia last Saturday in front of a boisterous home crowd.
The Blue Devil men's and women's teams come to Chestnut Hill ranked #11 and #9 in the nation respectively.
