The Boston College Athletics community is mourning the loss of Scott Laio, a junior member of BC's club crew team who passed away Saturday while participating in the Dad Vail Rowing Championships in Philadelphia, Pa.
"We are extremely saddened by the untimely death of Scott Laio," Director of Athletics Gene DeFilippo said. "We extend our deepest sympathy to Scott's family and friends. They are in our thoughts and prayers."
