The Boston College men's track team finished third in the 4x800-meter relay at the prestigious Millrose Games on Friday night, medaling in the event.
The Eagles' foursome of Trevor Rozier-Byrd, Frank DiVittorio, Daniel LaFave and Patrick Mellea turned in a time of 7 minutes, 53.46 seconds, finishing just behind squads from American and Duke. It was BC's top time in the relay this season.
Assistant coach Amy Mortimer also ran at the Games, competing in the mile at the professional level. Mortimer finished in sixth place with a mark of 4:39.
