Men's Swimming Finishes Eighth At Big East Championships

East Meadow, N.Y. - The Boston College men's swimming and diving team closed out the Big East Championships this weekend at the Nassau County Aquatics Center. The Eagles finished in eighth place with 124 points. Notre Dame won the meet with 902.5 points.
Brandon Twichell scored points for the Eagles in the 200 breaststroke. The senior finished 13th in the event with a time of 2:06.07.
In the 200 butterfly, BC also tallied points. Tim Tully came in 12th with a time of 1:53.44.
The team of David Herman, Tully, Twichell, and Billy Schwitter took eighth place in the 400 freestyle relay. The squad combined for a time of 3:16.17.
BC will compete in the ECAC Championships this weekend in Pittsburgh, Pa.
