Swimming and Diving Concludes Weekend at Army Invitational

West Point, N.Y. - The Boston College swimming and diving teams placed in the top three in nine events and placed first in five against Marist, Syracuse and host Army, at the Army Invitational in West Point N.Y.
Both the men and the women took the 200-yard freestyle relay events. Thomas Martz, Faughnan, Daniel Kollar and Matt Northrup won with a time of 1:28.96, while Liz Byron, Caroline Byron, Holly Boucher and Megan Hurd won the event on the women's side.
Liz and Caroline Byron placed in the top three in five events, including individual wins in the 50-yard freestyle and the 200-yard freestyle respectively.
Kim Garcia finished second in the women's 500-yard freestyle and while Jennifer Rhines placed third in the one meter diving event.
Northrup, Martz and Faughnan contributed a third place finish in the men's 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:39.59
The Eagles will host Brandeis Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
