Here are short biographies of the new Hall of Famers:
Doug Brown '86 (hockey): Doug Brown played four years for the Eagles (1982-86), helping BC gain the Hockey East regular-season crown in each of the league's first two years (1984-85 and 1985-86). A forward, he gained All-America second-team honors as a junior and senior, and earned All-Hockey East second-team accolades those same two seasons. He finished his collegiate career with 162 points - 73 goals and 89 assists - in 143 games. He still ranks 16th on the school's career scoring list. After graduation, Brown played 15 seasons in the National Hockey League, the last seven with the Detroit Red Wings. He won two Stanley Cups with the Red Wings (1997 and 1998).
Greg Brown '90 (hockey): Greg Brown played three seasons for the Eagles - 1986-87, 1988-89 and 1989-90. He missed the 1987-88 collegiate season while playing for Team USA in the 1988 Olympic Games in Calgary. In 119 collegiate games, the defenseman registered 120 points - 24 goals and 96 assists. The Eagles won the Hockey East regular-season title in each of his three seasons, while gaining the league tournament crown in both 1987 and 1990. Malcolm Huckaby '94 (basketball): Malcolm Huckaby played in 126 games for the Eagles from 1990-94. He was a member of two teams that earned berths in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) and, as a senior, he was a key member of the Eagles' team that advanced to the NCAA Tournament's "Elite Eight", defeating Washington State, top-ranked North Carolina and Indiana along the way. He ranks third on BC's career three-point field goals made list (199) and fourth on the school's career steals list (198). Three times he was selected as the team's Most Outstanding Defensive Player.
Brian Kelley '91 (baseball): A star second baseman for the Eagles from 1989-91, Brian Kelley came to Boston College after spending one year at the University of Richmond. He was a two-time All-BIG EAST selection (1990 and 1991). In 1990, he finished fifth in the BIG EAST with a .381 batting average.
