Boston, Mass. - Boston College and CollegeSports.com have teamed up to re-launch BCEagles.com (http://www.bceagles.com/) the official site of Boston College Athletics. The site contains features and applications that will bring Eagle alumni and fans closer than ever to their favorite BC teams and student-athletes. CollegeSports.com is a business unit of CSTV: College Sports Television (www.collegesports.com), the home of college sports.
"This new site will make it easier for our national fan base to follow their favorite Eagles on a constant basis," said Jamie Diloreto, Assistant Athletic Director External Relations. "Taking advantage of the latest technology, we have made the site extremely easy to navigate, and have added components that will enable our followers to connect with BC athletics like never before."
BCEagles.com Features Include:
- Simpler and Easier Navigation - a new navigational bar on the left-hand side of the home page, so fans are just one click away from every major section of the site
- Event Schedule - a daily calendar listing all BC men and women's sporting events and results ensures that alumni and fans near and far will know which team is playing when and where and their outcome
- Online Store - the official Boston College online store provides fans with officially licensed merchandise and apparel; fans can browse and buy in specific departments such as outerwear, specific sports and brands, accessories, and more
- Online Ticketing - Eagle followers can purchase tickets to games at their convenience, 24 hours a day
- New Masthead - BC introduces a new masthead to their site with pictures that make Eagles fans feel right at home in Boston
- Wide Photo - new layout of the site allows for a wide photo to feature the top story for Eagles fans on the homepage
- Improved "Eagles Perch" - updated feature allows Boston College Athletic Department to present unique content and special promotions to Eagles fans
- News, statistics, schedules and rosters - of all Boston College's men's and women's teams
