Men's Football
John Rooke
John Rooke is now in his sixth season as the play-by-play voice of Boston College football. An award-winning broadcaster, he is also currently serving in several other broadcast capacities, including play-by-play voice for Providence College/Big East basketball, sports anchor for WLVI-TV in Boston, co-host for PAX-TV's Coastal News, and as an ESPN Radio host.
A 1981 journalism graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Rooke has also served as a gubernatorial communications director, and as a program director/manager for a major communications company.
Peter Cronan
Peter Cronan returns for his 17th season as a member of the Boston College football radio broadcast team. During his tenure he has worked with various announcers, including Sean Grande, Dick Lutsk, Sean McDonough and John Rooke.
Cronan came to Boston College from Marian High School in Framingham, Mass., and was a four-year football letterman (1973-76) for the Eagles. He played defensive tackle and linebacker at BC, earning All-ECAC honors in 1975 and 1976. He was the ECAC Player of the Year in 1976.
A second-round selection by Seattle in the 1977 NFL Draft, Cronan enjoyed an outstanding professional football career. He played with the Seahawks from 1977-79 and in 1981, before playing with the Washington Redskins from 1981-85. Cronan and the Redskins played in two Super Bowls. He served as Washington's special-teams captain in 1982, the year the Redskins defeated Miami in the Rose Bowl in Super Bowl XVII.
Cronan was inducted into Boston College's Varsity Club Athletic Hall of Fame in 1986.
Men's Basketball
Ted Sarandis
Sarandis returns for his 10th season as the play-by-play voice of the Eagles and his 28th campaign broadcasting college basketball. He holds the unique distinction of having called the play-by-play for all four Division I basketball institutions in Boston- BC, BU, Harvard and Northeastern- as well as Holy Cross. Sarandis' additional play-by-play credits include Boston Celtics basketball, Harvard hockey, the Beanpot Hockey Tournament and the ECAC basketball game of the week on radio, as well as BU basketball and Lowell Loch Monsters hockey on television. In addition, the Boston native is a 12-year host of the popular "Ted Nation" talk show weeknights on Sports Radio WEEI.
Bill Ebben
Sarandis will again be joined by Bill Ebben, a 1987 graduate of Boston College. Ebben, who worked in the Boston radio community as an account executive, general sales manager and station manager from 1986-2001, returns for a second season in his second stint as color analyst. He previously served on the radio broadcast team from 1993-97. Ebben is currently the president of the Ebben Communications Group, an advertising, media placement and marketing firm in Westwood, Mass.
Women's Basketball
Jon Rish
Rish, a 1994 graduate of Boston College, begins his third season calling the Eagles. He is also in his seventh year of calling men's hockey games.
Aimee McGuire Wainwright
Wainwright, a 1998 graduate of Boston College, starts her second season as a color analyst. She was four-year letter winner and 2-time Captain for head coach Cathy Inglese. She is currently in her 6th year working in the Athletic Development Office at BC as a fundraiser for the athletic department. Aimee is married to Dave Wainwright, a '97 graduate of BC and a former BC Hockey Captain. Aimee also earned her MBA from BC in 2002.
Men's Hockey
Jon Rish
Rish a 1994 graduate of Boston College, begins his sixth year calling the Eagles. He began his tenure as a color analyst during the 1997-1998 season before switching to play-by-play duties during the 1998-1999 season. He also works for ESPN Radio.
Ken Hodge
Hodge, a BC star in the mid-1980s, begins his fourth year as the color analyst. He still holds the BC record for assists by a freshman (44) and ranks 19th on the career scoring list. After leaving the Heights, he enjoyed a four-year career in the National Hockey League, including two years with the Boston Bruins.
WZBC - BC Student Radio
WZBC 90.3 FM is a non-profit, non-commercial entity operating under the direction of Boston College, beaming a clear 1000-watt signal throughout Metro-Boston from its home in Chestnut Hill.
ZBC Sports is a sub-division of WZBC offering live radio coverage of Boston College football, men's and women's basketball, ice hockey, men's and women's soccer, baseball, and softball, while always providing a unique student perspective on college sports through these broadcasts and our sports talk program on 90.3 FM Saturday afternoons, 1-3pm.
Members of ZBC Sports cover all of the most important events for the BC Eagles. ZBC Sports broadcasts live events from some of the nation's premiere athletic and entertainment destinations such as: Aloha Stadium in Hawaii, the Coliseum in Nashville, Fenway Park in and the FleetCenter in Boston, Ford Field in Detroit, Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Madison Square Garden in New York City, Notre Dame Stadium, the Orange Bowl in Miami, and counting.

Ryan Moses
Sports Director, Senior at Boston College. Ryan started back in the Detroit Metro area at WBFH in Bloomfield as Production Manager while broadcasting music and sports programming. Will Imbriale
Associate Sports, Senior at Boston College. This is his third year working with ZBC Sports, concentrating on Eagles Football as well as Men's and Women's BC Basketball. Along with majoring in communications, his continuous efforts as a liaison with BC Athletics provides for a strong relationship and a myriad of opportunities for ZBC Sports programming. Mike Sullivan
Operations Manager, Junior at Boston College. He is in his third year of radio broadcasting. Mike is the voice for Boston College student sports talk radio with his weekly program, 1-3pm every Saturday, providing a collegiate point of view on topics national and local. Mike also produces the extraordinary montages that can be heard before ZBC Sports broadcasts.
