PRINCETON, N.J. - Boston College women's tennis breaks into top 75 in the latest WingspanBank.com Collegiate Tennis Rankings administered and released yesterday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).
This is the first week where the rankings are determined by the ITA's point-per-match computer formula. The previous eight rankings were determined by a poll due to the fact there are not enough results early in the season to administer a computer ranking. Boston College is receiving its first ranking of the season and debuts at 66.
The women's tennis team is 7-5 in dual matches and 3-1 in BIG EAST play. The women's tennis team will next see action on Sunday, March 25, against Seton Hall at 10:00 a.m in Chestnut Hill.
