VILLANOVA, Penn. -- Sophomore Derek Holland (Toronto, Ontario) scored in two events this weekend at the BIG EAST Track & Field Championships to lead the Eagles. Holland registered a sixth-place finish in the 5000m and a fourth-place finish in the 3000m Steeplechase.
Sophomore George White (North Royalton, Ohio), a defensive back on the Eagles' football team, finished in fifth place in the long jump and classmate Shawn McGinn (Cumberland, R.I.) placed fifth in the Hammer.
Senior Anthony DiCosmo (Fair Lawn, N.J.), a wide receiver on the BC football team, came in sixth in the triple jump, while sophomore Neil Koenig (Greenwich, R.I.) finished eighth in the javelin.
Boston College recorded 21.00 points to finish in 12th place.
