Men's Swimming Wins Over Niagara

CHESTNUT HILL, MA - The Boston College mens swimming team captured their third win of the season with a 87-53 win over Niagara. The meet was a tri-meet with Providence College and Niagara. It was the Eagles first home meet of the season, as Boston College improved its record to a perfect 3-0.
Boston College head coach Tom Groden named junior Greg Dwyer( Rochelle Park, NJ) the meets Outstanding Performer for his first place finish in the 200-yard individual medley (2:04.61). Dwyer also finished second in the 200-yard backstroke (2:03.02).
Groden also tabbed sophomore Ken Barton (Meridian, CT) as the Outstanding Performance, as he finished first in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.27). Barton was also a part of the winning 400 yard medley relay. Overall, Boston College won seven of the meets 16 events.
The Eagles faced the University of New Hampshire on November 23. They finish their first semester meets with a December 8 meet at Holy Cross.
