Men's Swimming Loses to Connecticut

STORRS, Conn. - The Boston College men's swimming team lost its second consecutive meet in a 157-75 loss to Connecticut. The Eagles fell to 3-2 overall,. 0-1 in the BIG EAST.
Boston College head coach Tom Groden named sophomore Paul Callahan (Churchville, PA) the teams outstanding performer for his thrid place effort in the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.87). Junior Colin Feichtmeir (Mountain View, CA) was given the team's Outstanding Performance for his effort in the 50-yard freestyle. Feichtmeir finished third with a time of 22.84 seconds, just four-tenths of a second off of first place.
Groden also praised the efforts of Callahan's 51.66 finish in the 100-yard freestyle and junior Greg Dwyer (Rochelle Park, NJ) for his performance in the 200-yard backstroke (2:04.59). Both were strong efforts, but were only good enough for third place.
The Eagles ended their fall semester swimming with a December 8th meet at Holy Cross.
