Men's Swimming Falls to New Hampshire

DURHAM, NH - The Boston College mens swimming team lost its first meet of the season as it fell to New Hampshire 170-127. The Eagles fell to 3-1 overall on the season.
Boston College head coach Tom Groden named sophomore Ken Barton (Meridian, CT) the Eagles top performer for his effort in winning the 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.99) and finishing second in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:18.43). Groden also gave sophomore Brendan Pike (Brockton, MA) the teams top performance for his effort in winning the 200-yard butterfly (2:03.62).
The only other Eagle to capture first place honors was sophomore Russell Keil (Tiburon, CA) , who won the 100-yard freestyle (49.37).
The Eagles traveled to Storrs, CT, where they faced BIG EAST foe Connecticut in their first conference meet of the season. Boston College finishes its first semester swimming meets with a December 8 meet at Holy Cross.
