
Ten Eagles Named to HEA All-Academic Team

Christopher Brown, Michael Kim, Joseph Woll and Zach Walker all earn their second Hockey East All-Academic Team honors Thursday afternoon
WAKEFIELD, Mass. - The Boston College men's hockey program boasted ten members on the 2017-18 Hockey East All-Academic Team announced Thursday afternoon by the conference. In all, Hockey East declared 144 male student-athletes have been named to the league's 2017-18 All-Academic Team.

Each student-athlete achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or better in each of the two academic periods during which he was actively competing.
Â
Captains Christopher Brown and Michael Kim are two-time members of this award as are juniors Zach Walker and Joseph Woll.
Â
Junior Michael Booth, Jesper Mattila and Michael Merulla are first-time recipients of this award since donning the maroon and gold while Michael Karow and Aapeli Rasanen earned a spot their freshmen seasons. Graduate transfer Kevin Lohan also qualified in his one season on defense on The Heights.
