Fencing To Compete In NCAA Regional Sunday

The Boston College fencing team will compete in the 2018 NCAA Northeast Regional at Gosman Sports and Convocation Center on the campus of Brandeis University on Sunday.

In the women's epee event the Eagles will have Ella Morgan, Lucy Hanson and Ceara Sweeney compete. Morgan is BC's top seed in 10th.

There are four Eagles competing in women's saber event - Gabrielle Chau, Crystal Chen, Laura Donavan and Gillian Lawlor. Chau is seeded 15^th while teammate Donavan is 16^th and Lawlor is 21^st.

In women's foil Amanda Lewis, Kayla Moy and Brooke Solsky will compete for the Eagles. Solsky is seeded 22^nd while Lewis is 23^rd. Moy is seeded 28^th.

On the men's side, Paul Chilana, MacGregor Mooney and Mateo Rueda will compete in the epee event. Chilana is seeded 28^th while Mooney is seeded right behind him at 29^th. Rueda is seeded 31^st.

Ben Slavin and Connor Rounds will compete in the saber event while Justin Herman, Ari Lichy and Cam Mayer will all compete in foil. Slavin is seeded 21^st in the saber, while Cam Mayer is seeded 15^th while Herman is 23^rd.
