Predicted snow and cold temperatures delay opening of new Brighton field

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Due to significant snow in the forecast today followed by several days of low temperatures, Boston College softball's home opening series against ACC opponent Virginia will be played at Warrior Softball Diamond at Martone-Mejail Field at Merrimack College in North Andover, Mass.

The series is still slated for Friday through Sunday, March 23-25, though the game times have changed. The updated game times are below.

March 23 at 10 a.m.
March 24 at 5 p.m.
March 25 at 10 a.m.

The new home opener for the Eagles is now Tuesday, April 10 vs. UMass at 4 p.m. The first ACC home series for BC will take place on Friday through Sunday, April 13-15 against No. 14 Florida State.
