QUOTES FROM COACH WALKER-WEINSTEIN
Â
On goals for the season…
"We have a lot. We're focusing on small milestones. Really, the biggest goal is to just be as prepared as possible for Notre Dame this weekend. Focusing a lot on our chemistry and running an efficient offense and aggressive defense. It's about figuring out who we are and being prepared for Saturday against Notre Dame."
Â
On using last season as motivation…
"Any team in the ACC has a target on their back, so we're really not talking much about that. We're really just trying to get them prepared for Notre Dame. We're going to be after each other, so we're keeping it simple with the girls."
Â
On strengths the freshman class brings to the field…
"I think a lot of them have good IQ. We're excited about Abbey being in the cage, too. She provides a totally different look for us compared to Lauren, the junior. We're just excited about the little things they provide to the offensive end and the defensive end. They're committed, they're hardworking and we're just trying to get them up to speed and ready for ACC play."
NEXT UP
- BC will return to Newton for its first home game of the season, challenging the Holy Cross Crusaders Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 3 p.m.
