BOSTON COLLEGE VS. GEORGIA TECH - ALL-TIME SERIES

Today's game marks the 25th meeting between the two schools.
Boston College is 10-14 all-time vs. Georgia Tech.
In ACC play, the Eagles are 9-10 versus the Yellow Jackets.
BC is 5-4 all-time at home against Georgia Tech.
The two teams have played twice in NCAA Tournament play, with Georgia Tech earning victories in 1996 and 2004.
The Yellow Jackets have won the last two matchups, including a 65-54 win last season on Feb. 11, 2017 in Atlanta.
Jerome Robinson had 17 points in the loss and Ky Bowman added 13.

BOSTON COLLEGE IN ACC PLAY

Boston College is 73-138 in 12 seasons in the ACC.
The Eagles began ACC play with an 89-84 win over top-ranked Duke.
Last season, the Eagles finished with a 2-16 mark in league play.
The Eagles' best ACC mark came in its inaugural season, going 11-5 in conference play in 2005-06 en route to a third place finish.
BC finished tied for third in 2006-07 (10-6) and fourth in 2010-11 (9-7).

Jerome Robinson is one of the top scorers in the ACC.
Overall, the junior ranks third in the league at 19.0 points per game.
The Raleigh, N.C. native leads the conference in scoring in ACC play, averaging 23.6 points per outing.
Robinson has scored 20 or more points in six ACC games, including a season- and career-high 32 points vs. Virginia Tech.
Overall, Robinson has scored 20+ on 10 occasions this season and 28 in his career - second-best among active ACC players.
He leads the league in 3FG%, connecting on 45.1% from the perimeter - including a 48.1% mark in league action.
The last Boston College player to lead the ACC in scoring in conference play was Olivier Hanlan (21.9 ppg) in 2014-15.

Ky Bowman: UNCHARTED STATISTICAL AVERAGES

Ky Bowman is the only player in the country to average at least 16.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game.
He is the only player at the NCAA Division I level to have posted such a stat line since the 1996-97 season.
Bowman's 7.0 boards per game average is the best nationally among players that are 6-1 or under.
The last player 6-1 or shorter to average at least 7.0 rpg for a season was Jeff Early of Southern Illinois (7.2) in 2012-13.
Only three players 6-1 or shorter have averaged 7.0 rpg for a season since the 1996-97 campaign.
Bowman is also the only player in the ACC to rank among the top 10 in scoring and assists and top 15 in rebounding.
He ranks sixth in the ACC in scoring, 13th in rebounding, and is fifth in assists.
Prior to the Dec. 30 game at Virginia, he was the only player in the nation to have at least 10 pts/3 reb/3 asst in every game.

Jordan Chatman - PATTERN OF IMPROVEMENT

Jordan Chatman is making his case for the ACC's Most Improved Player.
He is averaging close to 5.0 points per game more than last season.
Chatman's FG and 3FG percentages are both up from a season ago.
The junior guard is averaging 1.1 more field goals made per game this season, including close to 1.0 3-pointers made per game.
He leads the team lead with 53 3FG and is third in scoring at 13.0 ppg.

TIME TO START TALKING ABOUT Steffon Mitchell FOR ACC ALL-ROOKIE TEAM

Steffon Mitchell is making his case to earn a spot on the ACC's All-Rookie team.
He the the only ACC player - and one of just three players nationally - to average at least 7.0 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.1 blocks, and 1.1 steals per game with a 1.50:1 assist/turnover ratio.
In ACC play, he averages 7.3 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.4 blocks, and 1.1 steals with a 1.56:1 assist/turnover mark. Mitchell and Donte Grantham (Clemson) are the only two players to post those averages.
Overall, Mitchell ranks tied for eighth in the ACC (all games) in rebounding - and fourth among all ACC freshmen.
Since entering the starting lineup for BC at Nebraska on Nov. 29, he is pulling down 8.5 rebounds per game (15 games).
The Shakopee, Minn. native has registered 10+ rebounds in a game on seven occasions, including three double-doubles.
He is poised to become the sixth Boston College freshman to lead the team in rebounds/game since 1972-73.

BC connected on 13-of-14 free throws over the final 5:00 of play in the win over Florida State.

BC knocked down 8-of-8 free throw attempts in the final minute vs. the Seminoles.
