Ky Bowman scores 23 to lead four players in double figures
How It Happened
Four players scored in double figures as Boston College downed Syracuse, 85-70, in the regular season home finale.
The Eagles led by as many as 13 points in the first half - 27-14 - at the 8:45 mark. Boston College connected on close to 60% from the floor through the first 12 minutes. Ky Bowman's fourth 3-pointer of the half made it 34-22 with 6:09 to go in the half before Syracuse responded with 11 unanswered points to make it a one-point game (34-33). BC led 40-37 at the break.
BC began the second half on a 7-1 push, taking a 50-41 advantage on a Jordan Chatman 3-pointer with 16:42 left in regulation. A layup from Ky Bowman with 8:38 to go made it a 10-point game (64-54), while two Jerome Robinson free throws with 6:13 to play extended the lead to as much as 16 (73-57) as the Eagles' defensive effort held the Orange without a made field goal for close to a five-minute span.

- Luka Kraljevic tied his season-high with seven points off the bench in 14 minutes. He made his lone field goal attempts and 4-of-4 from the charity stripe to go with two rebounds.
- BC shot 48.1% from the floor (26-54) for the game - including 14-of-27 from the perimeter, good for 51.9%.
- Syracuse held an overall edge in rebounding - 34-29, including a 12-9 edge on the offensive glass. BC's rebounding percentages were 29.0% on the offensive glass and 62.5% on the defensive end.
- The win gave BC its most home victories (14) since the 2008-09 season, when the Eagles won 15 at Conte Forum.
- The win was the seventh in ACC play - the highest conference win total since the 2010-11 campaign.
- It marked the third time this season that Bowman and Robinson each reached the 20-point mark in the same game
73.1% - Boston College had 19 assists on 26 made field goals - good for a 73.1 assist percentage. Twelve of those assists came on the 14 made 3-pointers.
