Carter Robertson Qualifies For NCAA Championship

Boston College senior Carter Robertson qualified for the NCAA Championships, which will take place on March 7-10 hosted by the University of Colorado in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Robertson is the first BC skier in modern history to qualify for the NCAAs.

He was 12^th out of 16 men who qualified in the region. Robertson will race against the 34 best collegiate skiers in the country.

This past weekend, Robertson finished 22^nd in the giant slalom at the Middlebury Snow Bowl in Hancock, Vermont. He placed 49^th in the slalom. At the Williams College Winter Carnival at Jiminy Peak, Robertson placed 12^th in slalom and 26^th in the Giant Slalom.

A native York, Maine, Robertson had an eighth-place finish in the giant slalom and 11^th in slalom at the Dartmouth Winter Carnival earlier this season.

The giant slalom races at the championships are scheduled for March 7, and the slalom races will be held under the lights on Friday, March 9.
