Boston College dropped an 82-66 decision at N.C. State on Tuesday night.
The Eagles started the game strong, scoring the game's first six points and holding the Wolfpack scoreless for the first 6:21. But then the N.C. State offense kickstarted into gear, connecting on 14 consecutive field goal attempts in the midst of a 39-16 run. N.C. State led by as many as 20 points in the first half and held a 44-28 advantage at the break.
In the second half, both teams traded baskets much of the period. BC would get it as close as 10 on three occasions and, after a 9-1 run late in the half, got as close as eight - 74-66 with 3:13 to play - after a Jordan Chatman 3-pointer. But NCSU would close the game on an 8-0 run.

- Boston College scored 18 second-chance points on a season-high 20 offensive boards.
- BC was credited with eight assists - the lowest in an ACC game since Dec. 30 at Virginia (four).
- The Eagles grabbed 20 offensive boards and 38.5% of all offensive rebounding opportunities.
- Ky Bowman registered his seventh game with at least 20 points on the season.
