
BC Announces 2018 Spring Football Schedule

Jay McGillis Memorial Spring Game set for April 14 at 11:30 a.m.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Football returns for the Boston College Eagles with the start of spring practice on Tuesday, February 27. The Eagles will hold 14 practices before concluding spring drills with the annual Jay McGillis Memorial Spring Game on Saturday, April 14 at Alumni Stadium.

Kickoff for the spring game is set for 11:30 a.m. with live broadcast coverage via ACC Network Extra on WatchESPN.com and the ESPN app. The Boston College IMG Sports Network broadcast team of Jon Meterparel, Pete Cronan and Scott Mutryn will call the game for ACC Network Extra.

Boston College returns 37 letterwinners and 17 starters from last season's team that ended the year winning five of the last six regular season games en route to the New Era Pinstripe Bowl. The Eagles ended 2017 with a 7-6 overall record as nine players earned All-ACC accolades. Steve Addazio became the first coach in school history to lead the Eagles to four bowls in the first five years at The Heights.

Nine starters return on offense and six starters return on defense, highlighted by the return of ACC Rookie of the Year AJ Dillon and Walter Camp All-American defensive back Lukas Denis. Denis and Dillon are among seven All-ACC selections on the roster who return to the field in 2018 for Boston College.
