How It Happened
Boston College shot a season-high 55.9% from the floor - including 61.3% in the second half - as it cruised to an 86-72 win over Dartmouth in the non-conference finale for the 2017-18 season.
The Eagles and Big Green traded baskets for much of the first half. BC took its largest lead of the half after Jerome Robinson and Vin Baker Jr. connected on back-to-back 3-pointers, making it 18-11 with 12:00 left. Dartmouth would respond with a 7-0 run, tying the game at 18-18 with 10:20 to go in the period. There were three ties and nine lead changes the rest of the half. BC would take the lead for good as Ky Bowman connected on a 3-pointer as time expired, giving the Eagles a 41-38 advantage at the break.
BC connected on 8-of-11 to start the half racing out to a 21-3 start to the second half. Bowman had 12 points during the run, capped by a Jordan Chatman dunk and Robinson 3-pointer, making it 62-42 with 14:47 left in regulation. A Chatman 3-pointer with 7:38 to go gave the Eagles their largest lead of the game - 24 points - at 74-50.

- BC connected on 33-of-59 for the game - including 12-of-26 from 3-point land. The Eagles dished out a season-best 19 assists.
- Boston College has connected on 10 or more 3-pointers in a game on seven occasions.
- The Eagles moved to 9-0 when leading at halftime and 6-1 when five players reach double figures in the scoring column.
- The win closes out BC's non-conference schedule at 10-3 - the most non-conference wins since 2010-11. The 10-3 mark includes a 9-0 home record - the first undefeated non-conference home slate since 2005-06.
