
Eagles Fell after Late Goal from Harvard

Women's soccer drops to local foe, 1-0.
BOSTON, Mass. – Boston College women's soccer outshot Harvard 14-4 on Thursday evening at Jordan Field, but Harvard placed a well-timed ball in BC's net to nab the lone goal of the night and the victory, 1-0. Harvard improved to 4-1-0 on the season while Boston College dropped to 4-3-0.
After a scoreless first half and eight shots from the Eagles, two of which were shots on goal by freshman Sam Coffey, Harvard found a break in the 69th minute. After getting the ball in front of BC's defense, Harvard's Leah Mohammadi took her time working the goalkeeper before she netted the ball in the upper right corner of the net.
The Crimson goal was their only shot on goal and was Mohammadi's second of the season.

GOAL: Harvard 1, Boston College 0 – 69th minute: Following a Harvard throw-in, the Crimson's Candy Janachowski crossed the ball to Leah Mohammadi who dribbled past BC and finished the deed by putting the ball in the top right corner of the net.
