The Eagles return to the water for the 2017-18 season

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College rowing team released its 2017-18 schedule on Monday as the academic year got underway at The Heights.

The Eagles kick off the fall season with the famous Head of the Charles on Oct. 21-22 in Boston. They will also row in the Princeton Chase (Oct. 29) and the Foot of the Charles (Nov. 11). The freshman class will take part in the Green Monster Regatta in Hanover, N.H. on Nov. 4.

In the spring, the Eagles will participate in the Cooper Invitational, racing against Bucknell, Massachusetts, Navy, Rhode Island and North Carolina on the Cooper River in Collingswood, N.J. They return for regattas against local rivals Boston University and Rhode Island (April 7) and Holy Cross and Connecticut (April 8) before the Knecht Cup in New Jersey on April 14-15.

The Eastern Sprints in Worcester, Mass., will be held on April 29 before the Eagles travel to Clemson, S.C., for the ACC Championships (May 13).
