Beer, Wine Sales Expanded at Football Games

Eagles will offer beer and wine for sale at Alumni Stadium this fall as part of pilot program
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College Athletics Department is expanding beer and wine sales at Alumni Stadium as part of a pilot program during the 2017 football season.
Â
Beer and wine will now be available for purchase at select concessions locations within Alumni Stadium during football games, beginning with the Eagles' home opener against Wake Forest on Saturday, Sept. 9.Â
Â
"We're pleased to offer this expanded service to our fans," William V. Campbell Director of Athletics Martin Jarmond said. "We believe this opportunity will enhance our game-day experience, and be a welcomed amenity for our guests."
Â
Beer and wine have been available for purchase in Alumni Stadium's premium seating areas during previous seasons, but this new initiative will expand sales within the stadium. Boston College joins approximately one-third of FBS college football programs in offering expanded alcoholic-beverage service throughout their home venues.
Â
"A special thank you goes to our campus partners and officials from the City of Boston who worked with us to make this a reality," Jarmond added. "I appreciate the effort and support by many entities in recognizing the positive impact this can make on the fan experience."
Â
Tickets for the 2017 Boston College football season are on sale now at bceagles.com/tickets, including season memberships, mini plans, single-game seats and group packages with attractive amenities.Â
