Inaugural Fan Council Announced

Twenty-one Eagles fans will form the first-ever council
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – William V. Campbell Director of Athletics Martin Jarmond has announced the inaugural Boston College Athletics Fan Council for the 2017-18 athletic season.Â

Members of the Fan Council consist of many different constituents, such as donors, football season ticket members, former student-athletes, current students, local community members and more. The 21-person team will begin meeting later this month to help build a first-class gameday experience for all guests in attendance.

"Giving our fans a great experience at our venues is a priority for our department," said Jarmond. "The fan council will provide a dialogue that we've never had before among our most passionate fans. We appreciate the positive response from all of our fans."

Due to an overwhelming response of applications, Boston College Athletics will now look to create a secondary Fan Council that will focus on its winter sports season. Applicants will be selected from the current pool of applications.
