TURNING POINT
- After tying the game at eight with 24:22 left in the game, UNC's offense scored four unanswered goals to give the Tar Heels their largest lead of the game at that time.Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
- O'Connor got the Eagles on the board 1:20 into the game, but UNC responded 37 seconds later to tie the game at one.
- Down 2-1, BC scored the next three goals - one from Emma Schurr and two from Weeks - giving the Eagles a 4-2 lead with 10:29 left in the half.
- North Carolina and BC netted two goals each before the end of the half to make it 6-4 at the break.
- Out of the half, UNC outscored BC 3-1 in the opening 3:06 to tie the game at seven.
- After Laura Frankenfield got the Eagles back on top with a goal, UNC went on a 5-0 scoring run to make it 12-8 with 17:13 to play.
- Sam Apuzzo and Arsenault each netted a goal over the next eight minutes of play to cut the Tar Heels lead to two, 12-10.
- UNC's offense responded quickly and scored three goals in 1:07, giving the Tar Heels a 15-10 lead with 6:13 to play.
- The Eagles made a late push, netting three goals in the final minutes but could not tie the game.
