Preview: ECAC Championships

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's track and field team will be competing this upcoming weekend at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center in the ECAC Championships.
One week after producing a third-place performance at the ACC Championships hosted by Notre Dame, the Eagles' distance medley relay team of senior Claudia DiSomma, junior Molly McCabe, senior Robin Gross and sophomore Paige Duca will return to the track. The tandem combined for a time of 11:16.53 at the ACC Championships, the second fastest time in the event in school history.
Additionally, the Eagles will look to top their season-best time of 3:47.26 in the 4x400m relay run last week at the ACC Championships. Freshman Emma Taylor, sophomore Johanna Celli, senior Gabriella Candelieri and junior Julia Barron will make up the squad for Boston College.
In the field events, sophomore Elizabeth Knoll is coming off of a sixth-place finish at the ACC Championships in the high jump, when she cleared the bar at 1.65m (5'5").
