BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Junior Jessica Dreswick allowed no earned runs in 7.2 innings, including a three-hit shutout in BC's 4-0 win. It was Dreswick's second shutout of the season and her fifth time throwing a complete game and allowing zero earned runs.
- Junior Annie Murphy hit 4-for-6 and stole two bases in the doubleheader.
- Sophomore Carly Severini batted 2-for-5 with two RBI, a double and a walk.
- Senior Tatiana Cortez hit a triple in Game 1 and a double in the nightcap. She has recorded an extra-base hit in each of the last four games. She had two runs and two RBI in the doubleheader.
- Junior Jordan Chimento went 3-for-8 with two RBI and a double.
- Junior Chloe Sharabba batted 2-for-6 with two runs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Eagles built a 2-0 lead in the top of the fourth. Sharabba led off with a single to right center and advanced to second on a wild pitch. Murphy walked. Sophomore Allyson Moore laid a sacrifice bunt to advance both. Then Severini pulled it into right to score Sharabba for BC's first run.
- Later in the inning, senior Taylor Coroneos reached on the third baseman's error, allowing Murphy to score from third.
- Virginia scored all five of its runs in the fifth, beginning with Danni Ingraham's bases-loaded single that made it a 2-1 BC lead.
- Davis' two-RBI single gave Virginia the 3-2 lead.
- Two batters later, Virginia's Kaitlin Fitzgerald recorded another two-RBI single that gave Virginia a 5-2 advantage.
- Sophomore Kendra Friedt stabilized the game for BC, pitching a scoreless sixth inning.
- Senior Taylor Coroneos began the seventh-inning rally by reaching on an error. Then sophomore Lexi DiEmmanuele got it through the first baseman, and an errant throw by Davis – the second baseman – helped Coroneos score, making it 5-3.
- Chimento then doubled to right field to score DiEmmanuele, closing Virginia's lead to 5-4 before the Cavaliers induced the final outs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Senior Madison Paulson and Coroneos recorded consecutive singles in the top of the third. Following a groundout that advanced the runners, Chimento singled to score Paulson and generate BC's 1-0 lead.
- Cortez continued the momentum after Chimento's RBI with her two-run triple.
- Sharabba led off the sixth with a single. Then Murphy recorded a single for her third hit of the day. Moore hit into a fielder's choice that put Sharabba on third and runners at the corners. Severini doubled to right center, giving BC an insurance run and the 4-0 lead.
- Dreswick kept the game scoreless, only allowing two hits in the third and one in the fifth.
