- Sophomore Mariella Fasoula led the Eagles with 21 points, nine rebounds and two blocks. It marked the 23rd game in which she scored in double-figures, including the last six games. It was also her 11th game in which she scored 20+ points.
- Graduate senior Kailey Edwards scored 13 points and had five assists and three steals. It was the fifth time this season that Edwards had 5 or more assists.
- Senior Kelly Hughes pitched in with 12 points, seven rebounds and two steals.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Â The Eagles shot 41.7 percent in the first quarter behind six points from Fasoula as the two teams played to a 10-10 tie after the first 10 minutes.
- The Yellow Jackets outscored BC, 19-13 in the second quarter as the Eagles shot below 40 percent. Georgia Tech took a 33-27 lead into the locker room.
- At the half, Boston College struggled from long range as it was 1-for-6 from the three-point arc. Kailey Edwards hit the lone three in the half.
- The third quarter BC opened up on 7-0 run and took a one point lead after an old fashioned three-point play by freshman Georgia Pineau. A jumper by Elo Edeferioka ended the Eagles run but a back-door layup by Kelly Hughes pushed BC back into the lead, 36-35. The two teams exchanged points but Georgia Tech took a 49-43 lead into the fourth quarter behind a 6-2 run in the final 1:38 to play.
- The Eagles fought back and cut the lead to four points with a jumper by Fasoula to open the quarter. Georgia Tech extended the lead to seven points on a layup by Imani Tilford (10 points, five steals) with 6:41 to play in the game. Two straight hoops by Fasoula with under three minutes to play cut into the Georgia Tech lead, 64-60, with 1:53 left on the clock. Four straight points by Georgia Tech extended the lead to eight points but Fasoula and Taylor Ortlepp (six points, two rebounds, three assists) scored to cut the lead to four points with 39 seconds to play.
- Three fouls shots by Georgia Tech kept the Eagles at bay as a three by Hughes with seven seconds to play was not enough.

-Senior Kelly Hughes hit two three-pointers. She finished her BC career with 322 long range shots which placed her second on the ACC's All-Time list behind UNC's Ivory Latta '07 (345). She leaves BC has the all-time leader – male or female.  Hughes also finished with 1,550 career points.
- Sophomore center Mariella Fasoula pushed her career total in points – 867 career points and 381 rebounds. She is one of eight second year players in BC program history to score over 800 points.
- Freshman Georgia Pineau and fellow first year guard Taylor Ortlepp both finished strong. Pineau started 23 of 30 games and averaged 7.5 points and 5.4 rebounds. Ortlepp started the final 12 games of the season and averaged 7.3 points and 2.3 assists per game.
