• Tonight's 3-1 win for BU snapped a six-game losing streak against the Eagles in the Beanpot.
• BC is now 35-30 all-time in the semifinal round of the Beanpot.
•The last win for BU against BC in the Beanpot came in 2007 when Brian McGuirk scored in overtime.
• Austin Cangelosi scored his 12th goal of the season for the Eagles at the 6:59 mark in the second period. The goal cut the deficit to 2-1 before BU scored a short-handed goal at the 11:06 mark in the second to close out the scoring at 3-1.

• Boston University got on the board first at 4:29 of the opening period when Jakob Forsbacka-Karlsson knocked in a wrap around pass through traffic from linemate Patrick Harper in the center of the net.
SECOND GOAL (2-0 – BU) SECOND PERIOD – Chad Krys – 3:23 – POWER PLAY
• With his team on the power play, the Terriers' Chad Krys fired a shot from the top of the left circle to extend his squad's lead to two.
THIRD GOAL (2-1 – BU) SECOND PERIOD – Austin Cangelosi– 6:59 – EVEN
• With the Eagles possession in the corner, Ryan Fitzgerald glided the puck up to the top of the circle, where a waiting Matthew Gaudreau found fellow senior Austin Cangelosi skidding across the middle of the crease for the team's first goal of the evening.
FOURTH GOAL (3-1 – BU) SECOND PERIOD – Clayton Keller –11:06 – SHORT HANDED
• With the Eagles in control of the puck in the neutral zone on a power play opportunity, Clayton Keller stole an errant pass and took advantage of the fast break chance, netting a backhander through the pads of Joseph Woll to extend the Terriers' lead back to two, 3-1.
