- Senior attack Tess Chandler had a career day, setting career highs in points (8), assists (5), ground balls (6) and caused turnovers (4). She also recorded one of three hat tricks for the Eagles.
- Senior goalkeeper Zoe Ochoa finished the game with six saves, passing Emily Mata for seventh all-time in program history (256).
- Senior attack Kate Weeks led the Eagles with five goals, tying her career high.
- Following a season-ending injury last season, sophomore midfield Sam Apuzzo returned to action and finished the game with three points (two goals, one assist).
- Junior midfielder Emma Schurr recorded a career-high five draw controls while adding a goal.
- Senior attack Kayla O'Connor tallied the first hat trick of her career.
- Sophomore goaltender Lauren Daly stopped a career-high seven shots in the second half.
TURNING POINT
- After Holy Cross tied the game 4-4, the Eagles took a timeout and scored six unanswered goals to give the team a 10-4 lead going into the half.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Boston College tallied the first three goals of the game, two of which came in the first three minutes.
- Tied 4-4 with 10:55 left in the half, BC quickly responded by scoring just seconds after its timeout. The Eagles had five players score over the next four minutes of play.
- The Eagles added one more goal to close the half with a 10-4 lead.
- The offense continued where it left off, scoring two goals in the first two minutes of the second half to extend the lead to eight.
- Holy Cross battled back, cutting the lead to five before Kate Weeks scored her third and fourth goals of the game, putting the Eagles ahead, 14-7.
- After Holy Cross scored its eighth goal, the Eagles went on to score five unanswered in the final 15 minutes of the game to seal the win.
