FIRST GOAL (1-0 – UML) SECOND PERIOD – John Edwardh – 00:19 – EVEN STRENGTH
• Both teams went scoreless in the opening 20 minutes but UMass Lowell came storming out of the chute to start the second after John Edwardh scored 19 seconds in. The River Hawks won the draw and Dylan Zink pitchforked it out of the far corner to Edwardh on the left dot. Edwardh quickly tossed it at Joseph Woll and it trickled through his legs to make it 1-0, UMass Lowell.

SECOND GOAL (2-0 – UML) SECOND PERIOD – Ryan Lohin – 10:02 – EVEN STRENGTH
• The River Hawks doubled up their lead at 10:02 of the second period in transition. Kenny Hausinger skated the puck into the zone and connected with Jake Kamrass down low on the left circle. Ryan Lohin made the backdoor cut on the near post and buried the feed from Kamrass to make it 2-0.

THIRD GOAL (2-1 – BC) THIRD PERIOD – Colin White – 3:30 – EVEN STRENGTH
• Boston College got on the board by creating some clutter in front and beating UML goaltender Tyler Wall on the rebound at 3:30 of the third period. Scott Savage generated the Eagles' scoring effort with a slapshot through traffic from within the blue line. The puck hit David Cotton and he got a whack at it, pinballing the carom out to Colin White on the doorstep for the layup to make it 2-1.

FOURTH GOAL (3-1 – UML) THIRD PERIOD – Jake Kamrass – 10:04 – EVEN STRENGTH
• Kamrass reclaimed the River Hawks' two-goal lead midway through the third period on a wrap around attempt from the right side. Nick Master got the puck down low and Connor Wilson rimmed it along behind the net with Kamrass intercepted it, whizzed around BC's right post and flung it past Woll with a lot of traffic in front at 10:04 to make it a 3-1 contest.
