- This will be the 25th meeting between BC and Notre Dame.
- The Irish lead the overall series, 19-5. BC is 4-7 at home against the Irish and 0-11 on the road.
- In the first meeting between the two teams this season, Notre Dame defeated BC, 80-69, at Conte Forum.
- The last time the Eagles defeated Notre Dame was on March 19, 2006 during the NCAA Tournament. The win snapped a five-game losing streak to the Irish. It was the first round of the tournament and BC defeated Ohio State in the second round before losing to Utah in the regional semifinal game.
