- Senior Kate Weeks notched her fourth hat trick of the season and finished the game with 3 goals and one assist on the day.
- Senior Kayla O'Connor set a new career high in assists, tallying two. She also added two goals to tie her career-high in points.
- Sophomore Dempsey Arsenault recorded a career day on defense, causing four turnovers and picking up five ground balls.
- Senior Zoe Ochoa stopped six shots in the game, moving her career total to 279. She is one save shy of passing Sheila Serafino '11 (280), for fifth on the all-time list.
TURNING POINT
- Held scoreless for the first 15 minutes of the second half, the Eagles went on to score six unanswered goals to regain the lead, 11-9.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- UConn tallied two goals in the opening minute of the game but the Eagles responded with a pair of their own from Apuzzo and Weeks to tie it at 23:28 in the half.
- Apuzzo scored her third goal of the game with 11:19 left in the half to give BC its first lead of the game, 4-3.
- The Huskies scored the next four goals and kept the Eagles scoreless for 8:08 minutes of play to take a 7-4 lead.
- The Eagles cut UConn's lead to one after Apuzzo netted her fourth and fifth goals of the game before the end of the half.
- The Huskies opened the second half with two goals to extend their lead to three.
- At 15:28, Weeks tallied the first goal of the half for the Eagles, starting a 4-0 run to retake the lead, 10-9 with 12:04 left to play.
- BC added two more goals before UConn could get back on the board with 5:04 left to play. The Huskies were held scoreless for 17:33 minutes of play.
- Up two with less than five minutes to play, junior Kaileen Hart added two goals for the Eagles to secure the win, 14-11.
