HOW IT HAPPENED
- Dreswick and Arizona State pitcher Breanna Macha kept the game scoreless through five innings.
- Chimento's RBI single gave BC a 1-0 lead.
- Coroneos added two more runs in the top of the seventh to build a 3-0 lead. First Coroneos reached on a bunt. Then freshman Jules Trevino advanced her to second on a fielder's choice, setting up Paulson's RBI double that made it 2-0.
- Sophomore Allyson Moore followed with a single to score Trevino.
- The Wildcats loaded the bases in the bottom of the seventh. Then Chelsea Gonzales scored on a passed ball to make the game 3-1.
- With the bases loaded again, Skylar McCarty recorded an RBI single to cut BC's lead to 3-2.
- Dreswick and the Eagles held on for the victory.
