Eagles and Crimson meet on Tuesday in a long-standing non-conference battle
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College men's soccer team will face a familiar opponent on Tuesday in a non-conference game when they travel a few miles to face Harvard at the Crimson's Jordan Field. The 4 p.m. kickoff will be televised live on NESN, and streamed live outside of New England on the Ivy League Digital Network.
Â
BC (3-8-0) will be looking to get back on track and gain its first win since Sept. 19. Recently, BC has dropped three-straight one-goal decisions despite out-shooting their opponents in each contest. Harvard (2-8-2) is coming off a 1-0 loss at Yale on Saturday.
Â
Last year, the teams met in Newton, with Harvard claiming a 2-0 victory – the fourth game of a nine-game unbeaten run to close their season.
Â
This game will be Boston College's second-to-last non-conference game of the year. The Eagles are 3-3-0 so far in non-ACC game. Next Tuesday, BC hosts UConn in Newton to wrap the year's non-conference slate.
Â
Following this Tuesday's game, the Eagles will host Syracuse at the Newton Campus Fields on Friday, Oct. 13. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m., and the game will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra, which can be accessed via WatchESPN.com or the ESPN app.
