BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Boston College held large advantages in total yards (490-107), rushing yards (300-45), first downs (23-7) and time of possession (37:12-22:48).
- Graduate student QB Patrick Towles accounted for four touchdowns (two pass, two rush). He was 9-for-16 passing for 157 yards and no interceptions. He had seven rushes for 46 yards.
- Sophomore RB Jon Hilliman rushed for 83 yards on 19 carries and scored a pair of touchdowns.
- Redshirt freshman Davon Jones led the Eagles with a career-high 90 yards rushing on 12 carries.
Sophomore WR Michael Walker had career highs with four catches for 72 yards and a touchdown. - Sophomore WR Jeff Smith caught the other touchdown pass on a 58-yard strike from Towles.
Five of junior DE Harold Landry's team-leading six tackles were behind the line of scrimmage. He also had a career-high three sacks and forced a fumble.
KEY MOMENT
Towles scrambled for a 17-yard touchdown to cap a 12-play, 68-yard drive to give Boston College a 14-7 lead late in the first quarter. The Eagles led the rest of the way.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Wagner QB Alex Thomson broke free for a 55-yard touchdown run on the Seahawks' fourth offensive play from scrimmage to give them a 7-0 lead.
- Boston College responded on its next drive with Hilliman running five times for all 44 yards and a one-yard touchdown. Senior RB Tyler Rouse set up the drive with a career-long 44-yard kickoff return.
- The Eagles took a 14-7 lead with 1:50 left in the first quarter following a 12-play, 68-yard drive. BC rushed 11 times and Towles scored on a 17-yard scramble.
- Wagner's James Cooper connected on a 34-yard field goal with 9:35 left in the half to cut the BC lead to 14-10.
- Towles hit Smith for a 58-yard touchdown strike to push the Eagles' lead to 21-10 two minutes later. It was the longest pass play this year for BC.
- BC scored again on its next drive which went for eight plays and 80 yards. Jones had consecutive runs of 25 and 26 yards to spark it, and Towles snuck it in from the one to make it a 28-10 game with 2:19 remaining in the half.
- Rouse set up another BC touchdown with a 53-yard punt return to the Wagner six-yard line. Hilliman took it in from there to put BC ahead, 35-10, early in the third quarter.
- Towles and Walker connected for a 27-yard touchdown catch late in the third to make it a 42-10 lead.
