Woll is one of two goalies to join the Eagles this season
Joe Woll, a St. Louis, Mo. native, is one of two goaltenders in the 2016-17 BC recruiting class and comes to the Heights from the U.S. National Team Development Program.
The 6-3 net minder joins the Eagles after playing in 33 contests with the U.S. National U-18 Team last season, posting a 2.14 goals against average and .918 save percentage. Woll also participated in the U-18 World Championship in Grand Forks, N.D. this season and helped Team USA to a bronze medal with a 1.34 goals against average and .947 save percentage over three games.
During the 2014-15 season, the 2016 3rd round draft choice (62nd overall) by the Toronto Maple Leafs was between the pipes for 29 games for the U.S. National U-17 Team with a 3.48 goals against average and .905 save percentage.
