Incoming defenseman Luke McInnis follows his father's footsteps to The Heights as a member of the 13-man incoming class
Much like the Browns (Greg Brown, Doug Brown, Patrick Brown and Christopher Brown), Luke McInnis will continue the family tradition when he follows in his father's footsteps, Marty McInnis.

McInnis is the product of two Eagles, as his mother, Melissa McInnis, played lacrosse at Boston College.

The Hingham, Mass. product secured 28 points (6-22-28) in 58 showings as a defenseman for Youngstown in the United States Hockey League last year.

The 180-pound blue liner was named to the USHL's Second All-Rookie Team and earned a distinct honor at the USA Hockey / CCM All-American Prospects Game after McInnis was named the Player of the Game after netting the game-winning goal.

Boston College's newest defenseman also scored 38 points (11-27-38) for Dexter School to show off his offensive knack from the defensive zone.
