BC Athletics To Offer Instant Mobile Ticket Purchases with ReplyBuy
February 25, 2016 | Boston College Athletics
Fans can get tickets to the Eagles’ games by text message on their phones
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College Athletics is now partnering with ReplyBuy to provide fans with the ability to instantly purchase tickets through text messaging.
Â
ReplyBuy is a sports and technology company with partnerships across the United States and Canada with a large network that spans the NBA, NFL, NHL, college athletic departments and entertainment venues.
Â
Customers who register for the new Boston College program, BC Eagles FastPass will receive personalized notifications with special ticket and game day offers, enabling them to purchase these offers in a matter of seconds with a quick text message.
Â
The faster fans respond, the better their seat locations will be -- based on the best-available seat locations remaining for the game. Once the purchase is completed, electronic tickets are instantly delivered to a buyer's phone and can be scanned at BC's venues.
Â
"Through our new partnership with ReplyBuy, the creation of the BC Eagles FastPass will provide our fans the opportunity to purchase tickets faster and easier right from their mobile devices," said JM Caparro, Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs. "By joining the program, our fans will have exclusive access to game day opportunities throughout the year."
Â
"We are thrilled to be partnering with Boston College. The organization is extremely forward thinking and understands that mobile technology is changing the way consumers attend sporting events." said ReplyBuy Vice President Brandon O'Halloran "We are in an on-demand society and BC realizes the value of expediting the buying process by not making fans click links or download apps to complete ticket purchases."
Â
Fans can register for the service at the Eagles' ReplyBuy site or by texting EAGLES to 20123. Fans that sign up by March 3 will receive a $10 credit and a chance to win courtside seats for the men's basketball game against Clemson on Saturday, March 5.
Â
Boston College's ticket offers through ReplyBuy will generally include special promotional offers and limited or late-arriving tickets to the Eagles' football, men's basketball and men's hockey games.
