Jost corralled it, brought it to his backhand, and beat Woll at 8:57 of the second period.
SECOND GOAL - SECOND PERIOD – Tyson Jost – 14:02 – POWER PLAY
• North Dakota amassed four plays to BC's zero midway through the second period and the Fighting Hawks cashed in on their fourth one at 14:02. Christian Wolanin got the puck up to Shane Gersich on the red line and he pierced BC's penalty kill with a pass through the one to Jost in strike. FOURTH GOAL - THIRD PERIOD – Christopher Brown – 4:34 – EVEN STRENGTH
• Just as BC's other power play expired, Savage triggered another play with a blast from the point into traffic. David Cotton wrestled around in the crease and was able to get a stick on the puck and not allow Johnson to square up to it. FIFTH GOAL - THIRD PERIOD – Joel Janatuinen – 9:06 – EVEN STRENGTH
• North Dakota reclaimed its lead, 3-2, at 9:06 of the third period. Chris Wilkie fished the puck out of the corner to Johnny Simonson in the crease.
