
Eagles Host Connecticut at 1 p.m. in Final Home Game

BC will retire Matt Ryan’s jersey at halftime and honor senior class before game
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College football team will host regional opponent Connecticut at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19 in the final home game of the 2016 season. The game will be broadcast on the ACC Network Extra and the WatchESPN app.
The Eagles (4-5) take on the Huskies (3-7) for the 13th time in program history. It will be the first meeting since 2004 when BC defeated UConn, 27-7, in Chestnut Hill. The Eagles own a 10-0-2 all-time record against the Huskies. Boston College is 5-0-1 all-time at home and 5-0-1 on the road vs. UConn.
The 2016 senior class will be honored in its final home game before the start of the game. Former BC quarterback and current Atlanta Falcons signal caller Matt Ryan will see his jersey retired in a halftime ceremony.
BC travels to Tallahassee, Fla., to take on No. 20/18 Florida State on Friday, Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2 and the WatchESPN app, along with the BC IMG Sports Network (93.7 FM WEEI locally).
