BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Boston College outgained Connecticut in total yards, 337-121. The Huskies were held to -6 rushing yards.
- BC also held large advantages in first downs (16-8), plays (71-47) and time of possession (40:06-19:54).
- The BC defense forced a season-high four turnovers on the day: three interceptions and a forced fumble.
- Junior defensive back Kamrin Moore and junior LB Connor Strachan led the defense with six tackles apiece. Moore also added an interception.
- Senior linebacker Matt Milano returned an interception 19 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. It was the first interception of his career.
- Graduate student quarterback Patrick Towles threw for 183 yards and a touchdown on 14-of-19 passing, recording a 73.7 completion percentage, his best completion percentage as an Eagle.
- Sophomore wide receiver Jeff Smith recorded a career-high 121 all-purpose yards, including 87 receiving yards on four receptions. He recorded a game-best 54-yard reception, his second 50-plus grab this season.
- Junior punter/kicker Mike Knoll tallied a career-high three field goals with a long of 39 yards.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- BC got on the board first with a touchdown early in the second quarter. The Eagles drove 60 yards on 12 plays and took up 7:07 on the game clock. Redshirt freshman running back Davon Jones finished the drive with a one-yard touchdown run.
- Knoll hit a 35-yard field goal with 1:36 left in the first half to give BC a 10-0 lead at the break.
- The Eagles increased their lead to 17-0 with a 13-play, 75-yard drive to start the second half. Sophomore wide receiver Michael Walker caught three passes on the drive, including a 10-yard touchdown catch in the back of the end zone.
- The lead increased to 20 points when Knoll connected on a 24-yard field goal with 2:55 left in the third quarter.
- Milano added to the lead when he intercepted a Donovan Williams pass and returned it 19 yards for a touchdown early in the fourth quarter.
- Knoll hit a 39-yard field goal midway through the fourth to close out the scoring (30-0).
